Outliers all share a mindset and usually leave their mark on the world in unique ways. The Bay Area has provided a warm(ish) welcome to our kind for over 100 years, for various and diverse reasons. We come here to change things, and often succeed.

Many have returned home to our favorite city at the most important build moment of our lifetime. San Francisco is the epicenter where the future of humanity is, once again, being shaped. We didn’t come back to build a new YC b2b SaaS company. Our work here is in culture, mindset, community, connection, philosophy, art, consciousness, innovation, fun and purpose.

To begin our mission, our partnership acquired and is transforming an 18,000 sq ft 1881 Victorian mansion in Lower Pacific Heights. The building was renovated and converted to a hotel in 2013 and 2014. It is currently operating as a 12 key boutique hotel, restaurant and event venue called Sutter Mansion. We own the building with no debt and got a crazy deal on the asset from a motivated seller.

It will soon close and be reshaped by an amazing group of designers and artists as Outlier San Francisco.

This is a living art project, a cultural experiment, a chance to leave a real mark on the future of what it means to be human. This is our "office" for the future: technologically, culturally and spiritually. And it's entitled as a hotel and restaurant, with the members club layered in through the renovation permits.
