A Bay Area-based counterculture intellectual movement from the 1950’s and 60’s made a thinking machine that, today, is on the verge of becoming conscious. This journey has had a massive impact on every aspect of how we exist - both with each other and on the planet.

The greatest explorers of our time are running experiments on the nature of reality and the foundation of consciousness. Breaking long-standing laws of physics, while scientists are proving mystic phenomena, replicable.

As we stare down the inevitability of another agriculture revolution scale transformation, future shock has the world split between irrational fear and blind techno optimism.

So what is there to do? Freak out or build the robots?

For us, we see no other option than to go straight into the epicenter, right in the mix where it’s all happening and light a fire that’s kept warm by reminding us all why we started.

In 2026 we start again with Outlier in San Francisco, obviously. The place where our entire culture was born and where all the builders, still come to build. Sorry Austin…

To get the fire lit we bought a 12 Room Gold Rush mansion/hotel in the heart of San Francisco and are cultivating a home for our community to gather, explore, feel, create, experience, stay, eat, host, and more importantly, have a great time.

It’s a build moment for humanity. So we can either get involved, or be told about what happened. It’s time for art, music, poetry, science, technology, spirit, all of it. We define the future - right now.

Outlier exists to support those on the fringe, the ones who see the world as it could be, to go further.
